This just in from our technology department:
We have just received a call from the Technology Department for the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe. The tribe has set up Wi-Fi hotspots in the quad area near Veteran's Park and Tribal Headquarters. The name for the Wi-Fi is: uteguestwireless1. There is no password to access their network. The locations are available from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm daily to align with the existing curfew ordered by the tribe. Huge shoutout to Anthony Bancroft and the Ute Mountain Ute Technology team for getting this put together for our students.
Besides the school hotspot areas that we have provided, there is also a Farmers Telephone Wi-Fi to the south of Manaugh Elementary and to the west of Napa Auto Parts. There is no password to access the Farmers Telephone Wi-Fi. Those areas are also restricted to daytime hours.
Our technology departments and internet providers deserve a lot of love and respect right now. Thank you for working so hard to make sure our students have the tools they need to learn in this environment!
