Principal’s Corner

The staff and students continue to focus on academics and student success throughout the school year.  I have often told the staff that some of our best instructional months are January, February, and March of each school year.  I believe this is due to the winter season and most have not started thinking about spring and summer activities!

This school year has been a fantastic one so far, and we will keep it that way.  I could not be more satisfied with the continuous hard work the staff puts forth to educate our students.  These jobs are very difficult, but I see the staff thriving while working with the kids and they are always doing their best to help them improve academically and socially.  What a rewarding thing to see each day!

Our Colorado State assessments are right around the corner - in mid-March we will begin our testing and I am very optimistic that we will continue to meet State expectations with our accreditation level.  Kemper has improved in this rating tremendously in the past three years and this is due to the staff, students, and parental support.  Thank you!

As always, if you have questions or needs, please contact me.  I can be reached at (970) 565-3737, extension 4121.
