It’s a great day to be alive and be a Panther! 

A huge shout out to Mary Mares! Our M-CHS Computer Science Teacher was selected as a winner of the Rural Alternative Licensure Stipend.

Recipients receive $4,500 to help pay for the cost associated with becoming an educator. We think Mrs. Mares is doing  a great job! Way to go Panther!

New News: 

Juniors & Seniors: A representative from Grand Canyon University will be on campus Wednesday, November 4th at 10a.m. If you are interested in meeting with her please sign up in the Counseling Office.

This week from Wednesday through Friday the French & Spanish Club celebrates Dia de Los Muertos with a party and they will be watching the movie Coco in room 2203. Bring your food and some wrapped candy to share!

 

Attention Juniors- The Bezos Scholars Program is now open. The Bezos Scholars Program is a year-long leadership development program that amplifies youth voice and action. For more information and to apply, go to https://bezosscholars.org/

Panther Opportunity of the Day: NCWIT AWARD FOR ASPIRATIONS IN COMPUTING (AiC)  DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 5, 2020 Open to U.S. high school and college women with an interest in computing and technology. For more information go to https://www.aspirations.org/recognitions/AiCAward
