EDUCATION MATTERS SCHOLARSHIP

Open to students 13 years of age or older who are legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia and are currently enrolled (or will enroll no later than the fall of 2025) in an accredited post-secondary institution of higher education. THANKSGIVING SCHOLARSHIP

Open to student who are at least 18 years of age and are currently, have been, or will be enrolled (or enroll no later than the fall of 2020) in an accredited post-secondary institution of higher learning. OppU ACHIEVERS SCHOLARSHIP

DEADLINE: DECEMBER 31, MARCH 31, JUNE 30

The OppU Achievers Scholarship celebrates students who transform opportunity into results. It rewards achievement in many forms and honors those who create opportunity for both themselves and others. COOLIDGE SCHOLARSHIP

DEADLINE: JANUARY 16, 2020

High school JUNIORS that plan on enrolling in college in the fall of 2021 may apply for this full-ride four years of undergraduate study scholarship. The Coolidge can be used at any accredited U.S. college or university. Coolidge Scholars are selected primarily on academic excellence. Secondarily on an interest in public policy. The top 100 applicants are invited to participate in its Coolidge Senators Program, which includes an all-expenses-paid Summit Weekend in Washington, D.C. and receive a one-time $1,000 scholarship. Applicants who make it to the finalist level, but do not win the full scholarship, receive a one-time finalist scholarship of $5,000. WHITE ROSE SCHOLARSHIP 

DEADLINE:  JANUARY 17, 2020

The White Rose Scholarship Foundation has awarded more than $300,000 to students attending accredited schools of higher learning. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic achievement, community service, and financial need. COLORADO SOCIETY OF MAYFLOWER DESCENDANTS SCHOLARSHIP

DEADLINE:  FEBRUARY 1, 2020

The Colorado Society of Mayflower Descendants is proud to award two $1,620 scholarships each year. The driving force of the application is the completion of a thoughtful, well-written essay which explores the history and influence of the Mayflower Compact. PINNACOL FOUNDATION SHOLARSHIP

DEADLINE:  FEBRUARY 15, 2020

Pinnacol Assurance, Colorado’s leading provider of workers’ compensation insurance knows that life can be a lot harder when a parent is seriously injured or killed in a work-related accident. That’s why they created a scholarship program to ensure that despite things being beyond your control, you can still have an opportunity to pursue your academic goals.

Applicants must:

  • Be the child of a worker who was injured or killed in compensable work-related accident in Colorado and who was entitled to benefits under the CO Workers’ Compensation Act.
  • Be between the ages of 16-25 at the time of the application deadline.
  • Have and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
  • Have a high school diploma or GED, or be a high school senior.

TIM COOPER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

DEADLINE: MARCH 1, 2020

The Four Corners Chapter of Safari Club International (Four Corners SCI) has established the Tim Cooper Memorial Scholarship Fund in support of and to promote good fellowship among all who love the outdoors and hunting. The scholarship will award a student who engage in the purpose of our Mission, with $4,000, funds will be distributed annually in the amount of $1,000 per year for four years. DRIVESAFE SCHOLARSHIP

DEADLINE: MARCH 1, 2020

In an effort to teach teenagers about the importance of making safe choices, DriveSafe Driving Schools is pleased to announce the DriveSafe Scholarship Essay Competition.  On April 15th, DriveSafe will award a scholarship of $1,500 to a high school senior who plans to attend college in 2020. To compete for the scholarship, students must write a 500 word or less essay about safe decision-making and the role it plays not only while behind-the-wheel but in all aspects of life. COLORADO GARDEN FOUNDATION

DEADLINE: March 15, 2020

This scholarship offered by Colorado Garden Foundation is a four-year full-ride scholarship available to an incoming freshman resident from Colorado at a publicly funded Colorado college or university. This scholarship includes tuition, fees, room & board, and all required books for the four years. In addition, the student will be given a laptop computer and printer at the start of their freshman year. Applicants must be majoring in one of these fields of study

CHAPTER EV OF P.E.O. SCHOLARSHIP

DEADLINE:  APRIL 7, 2020

This $1,000 scholarship is available to female residents of Montezuma County who are planning to enroll in a recognized program to further their education. The decision of the committee will be weighted toward those with identified educational goals, a proven financial need, and evidence of determination to attain their educational goals. Applications are available in the Counseling Office.

2019 DESIGN A BETTER FUTURE SCHOLARSHIP

DEADLINE:  APRIL 26, 2020

FROM CLASSROOM TO CLASSROOM SCHOLARSHIP

DEADLINE: JUNE 30, 2020

Education.com is awarding a $5,000 college scholarship to a deserving high school senior interested in pursuing a career in teaching. Our scholarship is called the From Classroom to Classroom Scholarship, and we are on a mission to make an impact in the lives of aspiring teachers in America. To apply, students must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Must be a United States citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Open to students from all states.
  • Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

NATIONAL CO-OP SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

WACE, on behalf of the nine WACE Partner Institutions, is pleased to announce and sponsor its Eighteenth Annual National Co-op Scholarship Program. As the largest independently sponsored merit co-op scholarship program in the United States, WACE will award up to 160 merit co-op scholarships for a total value of $4,200,000. These merit co-op scholarships will be awarded to high school seniors and transfer students who plan to participate in college cooperative education at one of our Partner Institutions listed on the Scholarship Partners tab.
