COMMUNICATING WITH OUR Families

MCSD communicates with parents in several ways to be sure they are able to keep track of their students’ classroom activities as well as receive notification of schedule changes or emergency situations.

EMERGENCY ALERTS

If there is an emergency you will receive message from the District in the form of a phone call, a text message, or email. Further information will be provided under Alerts Flag on the home page of the District website. You may also receive communications directly from your school principal.

Non-emergency Alerts

The fastest way for MCSD to share information regarding school delays and/or cancellations during inclimate weather situations is through our automated call or text notification service and social media channels. Attendance calls typically are made to the listed home phone.

ALMA & ALMA START

Alma is a web-based student information system which allows parents to access attendance records and other academic information. Alma Start is the portal for families that are entirely new to our district to complete new student registration.
