DISTRICT ACCOUNTABILITY COMMITTEE (DAC)
What is DAC?
The District Accountability Committee (DAC) is an advisory group that is made up of representatives from every district school, community members at-large, business owners, parents and principal representatives. It serves as a middle ground between schools, administration, and the Board of Education. DAC provides a public forum for parents and community members to participate and assist the district in achieving its missions and goals. The committee meets at least quarterly to discuss district issues, activities, and programs. DAC representatives serve as the key communicators in their school community.
DAC meetings will be in person at the Montezuma-Cortez School District RE-1 building (400 N Elm St. Cortez, CO 81321) in the board room on the first Monday of every month, February to May, from 5:30 to 6:30.
